Phew... What A Weekend!!

Started out on Friday when I had to pick up my daughter & her best friend from a orchestra thing in Edmonds. UGH!! Get off of work, then had to waste a few minutes before trying to figure out where she was & her cellphone reception was horrible, so that made it challenging. Then stuck in traffic for a hour & a half. In the meantime, the wife had to pick up our son from daycare, then take him to his baseball game ( last of the season ), then to the party where he got a cool trophy. So it was a hectic afternoon.
Then came Saturday. We did some shopping at the outlet mall. The girls had to go find a dress for a friend for graduation. I had to find something to wear to a gentlemens club. Yes, you read that right. Then it was off to get my daugthers friend home, my son picked up from the in-laws, a birthday present picked up & me home. The wife & kids then went to the birthday party & I headed down to meet up with 6 friends, to hit the gentlemens club. We were there to see Jesse Jane. I wont get into what happened in the club, because it involves friends. But it was entertaining. No one got in trouble. Jesse didn't hit the stage until around 10:45 - 11ish p.m. We'd already been there for a couple of hours. So once she performed & I got a pic with her, we left. But it was a fun time. Kind of a guys night out thing.
Sunday... Fathers Day!! Happy belated Fathers Day to all!! But it was a busy day. Sleep... Since I didn't get home til late. Then it was off to work, since I had Monday off, I went in on Sunday to prep things so Monday would be a little easier for the pops. After that, the pops & I went to the grocery store & got some stuff for a nice dinner. I wasn't feeling that good, but enjoyed a great dinner & then we headed home. I was supposed to play a 6 p.m. baseball game, then a 9:30 p.m. hockey game. But I just didn't feel well so I didn't play.
Monday - my daughters 8th grade graduation. I had to wake up early, which I hated because it was my "day off". But we had to get her to school by 9 a.m. Didn't work that well. We picked up my mom & had to drop something off with my dad, so we finally pulled into the school at about 9:15 a.m. Graduation started at 10 a.m. & lasted til about 12:20 p.m. Then it was off to a party for the kids at a park where they were able to enjoy each others presence for another few hours before they split for the summer. Plus the class will be split between two high schools, so it was a sad day. My daughters best friend ( guy ) will be going to the other high school, my daughters other best friend ( girl ) is a year younger so wont be joining her til the following year. So it was a sad day for her. But for a "day off", it was draining. To end the day I had a hockey game last night ( It was a back to back & it showed!! They won in Kent on Sunday, but we lost last night in Everett... ) So I'm drained!! Well I better head home... Til next time...
